Can royal marines (UK) go and get civilian Qualifications contained by oodles sporting accomplishments in need have to become ATIs?

I am a trainee outdoor activities instructor and I am seriously considering a career as a commando. I don't suggest I want a life long career though and be wondering if i could get civi qualifications contained by activities such as kayaking, skiing, mountain biking and even parachuting (you know the extreme or adventure stuff) short having to become a personal trainer and then ATI?
All ranks and grades within the British military can apply to do an unbelievable array of sporting courses, up to advanced and coaching levels.

Whether they will permit you go on them is another matter, especially next to cuts going on!

Being an ATI will help though.
