What ever happen to the funny Iraqi information minister?

Remember that guy, he would turn up on TV during the BBC news or on ITV news motto that they were pushing back allied forces even when the tank were rolling in trailing him. He made me laugh so much and I would hate to hear he have been killed or tortured. I devise the irony was that he was the information minister and know nothing.

Who said that the information minister is supposed to know anything? They're supposed to give out the information the government desires people to have, no thing how insane.

He surrendered to the Americans and was briefly questioned but they permit him go because he really did nothing wrong and admit he did it all for the laughs. He's now living contained by the UAE with his family.
