Should the establishment agree on the career of the population a bit than us choosing?

Would people be happier if at the end of university you are told what you are going to work as and forced to work there. Would we live in a better society minus the pressure to better ourselves?
Answers:
The market place select our careers.
If you think you own any choice,
you spent a lot of money to get it
and are surrounded by the upper 10% of the population
with regard to material comfort.
Go to Communist China, if that's what you want.

America is about leaving individuals to pursue their own industry, and reaping the benefits of such.
It just have. It has decided that substantial amounts of the population should now have a occupation as a "job seeker".
No, this government have proven to be too inept to decide much for us, let alone our career.
No, and I don’t know why you would suggest that. The current system may be somewhat inefficient because people have unrealistic expectations or are underachievers but individuals want to make their own mistakes and enjoy individual freedom contained by pursuing career goals. Things give the impression of being to sort themselves out.
affirmative

I think that 95% of people don't know what they wanna do anyway so yea. It's purely the 5% who'd be annoyed to be deprived of their true vocation.
No to everything that you said. But leave Obama in department long enough and that is exactly what will come about.

No they should not.
No, we wouldn't.
Basically, you are asking if we would be better off with a communist form of rule. Hell No! I like being free - or pretending to be free in our time. If the government did that, I couldnt even pretend anymore. This society controls much of what we choose to do with our lives. As it is, the senate already has much control of our professions of choice. They can make it exceptionally easy or very difficult to pull off goals. It just depends on their agenda. You know, they already control so much of our lives, why within the hell would we want them to control more? Just because people have a thorny time deciding what they want to do with their lives. I dont freakin guess so. The minority may feel that it would be better. But the majority of people close to being independent and autonomous.
In a word, no. In two words, hell no.
