it supports children by giving them the opportunity to play and interact with other children, plus it develops their social,moving, some physical and intellectual skills which will benefit them before going into a primary school setting ( which is a statutory setting) (funded by the parliament or local authorities) it benefits the parents by giving them the opportunity to either get support to work or to look for work, or even to come in on outings with the children. it also give the parents the break to keep on top of house duties or other commitments or hobbies.
