Do the Tea Party pay no attention to their own core values when it comes to gay relations?

Isn't it ironic?…

Their mission statement says things like:

"As the parliament is of the people, by the people and for the race, in all other matter we support the personal liberty of the individual,"

"Our current government's interference distorts the free market and inhibits the pursuit of individual and monetary liberty."

" We hold that the United States is a republic conceived by its architects as a nation whose people be granted "unalienable rights" by our Creator. Chiefly among these are the rights to "life, liberty and the pursuit of joyfulness.""

So hang on here. They support personal liberty, unless you are gay.
They do not want to inhinit individual lack of restrictions, unless you are gay.
They say that individuals have rights to sovereignty and pursuit of happiness, unless you are gay.

Go figure the Tea Party. They are full of rubbish, lies, mistruths and idiocities!

Should the Tea Party put their own core values into EVERYTHING they do, and not pick and choose when they are relevant!
It's because you're twisting things around. I haven't hear any anything about the Tea Party wanting to federally ban homosexuality. If you're conversation about gay marriage, that's a culture entity. There is no one clear way to describe marriage that meets the requirements of everyone as a whole. But yet it have to be defined in some way. So the best preference is to allow the people of each individual state to determine what "marriage" should be defined as for their state. Then remove as much call for to even reference the term contained by the Federal government.

The concern I keep running into is that indistinguishable arguments for allowing gay marriage would equally apply to polygamy and incestuous relationships. It doesn't impact others and so long as it's fully consensual, what's the issue? The only problem is how society view the groups. How is it fair to only convert the rules for gays and not other groups? It starts to make gay rights groups look hypocritical.
Yes, they do contradict their whole value system. They are aphorism everybody is equal except for the people they don't like.
You niggardly the Tea Party is not a bunch of freedom-loving patriots?

But is perhaps instead a bunch of gay-hating, misogynistic, quasi-racist right-wing nut-jobs?

Who'd own thought it??

I - for one - am so totally shocked.
I am confused, Please explain how being gay prevents someone from Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness".

You have a nice rant but you miss pointing out why your upset contained by your rant. Please explain how in the TEA Party's ideals somehow discriminate against gays because I do not see it. The TEA Party does not support or oppose gay wedding so that can not be it. The TEA Party is about taxes and free market enterprise so how are they oppress you as a gay person?

Added: SO what is it in the ideals of the TEA Party to be precise upsetting you? It has been 60 minutes and we still hold no idea what about the TEA Party is so upsetting to you. Source(s): Bear
